Slow down. Get correct. Build for spring.
Winter Ranch Horse Development Sessions bring a small group together for purposeful work two weekends each month at Stache Ranch.
Practice that carries into the next ride.
Groups of three to four riders meet for four-hour sessions. Eddie moves between the fundamentals, rider position, feel and timing, video discussion, and practical ranch skills. The goal is a horse and rider that understand the work, not a list of maneuvers checked off at speed.
- Two weekends each month from November through March
- Small-group instruction with a progressive plan
- Homework, discussion, and a featured book
- Foundation, transitions, softness, and practical ranch tasks
If conditions make hauling or outdoor riding unsafe, the session may shift to an indoor education day. Scheduling changes are communicated directly to enrolled riders.

Your group assignment and exact meeting times are confirmed during enrollment.
Is this the right fit?
The sessions are built for riders willing to slow down, practice between meetings, and work from the level their horse can honestly perform. If you are unsure about bringing your horse or need a different starting point, contact Eddie before registering.
