Build the horse and rider you want to become.
Ranch Horse Development Sessions turn regular rides into a practical plan. Start where you are, improve the foundation, then use it for the work you want to do.
Four focused sessions each month.
Meet with Eddie for one private, 60-minute session each week at Stache Ranch. Bring your horse or ask about using a ranch horse. You leave with a clear practice assignment rather than waiting until the next lesson to know what to do.

- Baseline conversation about your goals and your horse
- One-on-one coaching with a consistent weekly time once confirmed
- Homework and progress tracking with a scorecard
- Foundation skills applied to trails, cattle preparation, ranch work, or shows
We work on feel, timing, balance, softness, transitions, control of the feet, and practical jobs. The emphasis changes with your starting point.
A clear path from first contact to first ride.
Tell us your goals
Share your experience, horse, contact information, and what you want to work toward.
Confirm the fit
Eddie confirms a weekly time and whether you will bring a horse or use a ranch horse.
Complete enrollment
First payment and waiver are completed before your first session; then you receive your schedule.
Your foundation is the starting point.
New riders, returning riders, and riders with ambitious ranch or show goals all need a plan that matches the horse in front of them. If your next step is a group setting, see the winter sessions.
